Privacy Policy

Real Food Group (“RFG,” “we”) operates realfoodgroup.com and the Real Food Group iPhone app. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

Location. If you allow it, the app uses your precise location while you use the map so we can show farmers markets near you. We do not use location in the background. Coordinates used for nearby search are sent to our market feed; we do not sell location data.

Account. You can continue as a guest or sign in with Apple. Apple may share a name and email (or a private relay address) if you choose those scopes. That information is stored on your device. If our servers later verify the Apple token, a user id may also be stored there.

Membership. In-app purchases are handled by Apple. The app reads StoreKit transaction status on device to unlock RFG+. Web memberships use Stripe on the website. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Favorites. Saved market ids live in on-device storage (UserDefaults) unless we later attach them to a server account.

Why we collect it

App functionality only: map, nearby markets, sign-in, subscription unlock, and optional alerts when a favorite’s status changes. We do not use this data for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps.

Retention and deletion

Device data is removed when you delete the app or use Delete Account in Settings (clears the local account, favorites, and local trial flags). Apple subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID settings; deleting the in-app account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Contact us if you need help with a web (Stripe) membership.
